Early 20th century trade union newspapers available online

The ANU Archives has digitised and made available online early editions of two historic newspapers from the Rail and Tram Unions. The All Grades Advocate (1917) and the Co-operator (1909 - 1917) document the union's involvement with some of the major events of that time including the great strike and the anti-conscription debate. These edition were digitised by the National Library of Australia on behalf of the ANU Archives and will be a useful source for researchers of this turbulent time in Australian history.
