Sport
Sport has been an important feature of student life at the ANU, providing relief from the pressures of study, the chance to excel and compete in sport, and bringing students together socially.
The university’s many ovals as well as the ANU Sports Union gymnasium have always been heavily used on campus, while the Mountaineering, Skindiving and other clubs have made the most of the coastal and mountains regions surrounding Canberra.
