Guide to Australian Business Records
Guide to Australian Business Records is an endeavour to draw together historical information on Australian businesses and business people (business entities). The intention is to link business entities with information on extant archival records created by the entities and held in archives and libraries, together with citations of published works about the entities.
Trove is a portal to Australian archives, published material, photographs and other resources hosted by the National Library of Australia.
The ANU Archives holds a wide range of photographs in both the University Archives and the Noel Butlin Archives Centre. You can view photographs that have been scanned in our Open Research repository and these are also harvested by Trove.
The National Archives of Australia holds some records about the establishment and early management of the Australian National University.
The Basser Library at the Australian Academy of Science collects both published and unpublished material documenting the history of science in Australia, and promotes related historical research. It holds records of some former ANU scientists.
