Lautoka Mill

Lautoka Mill in the west of the island of Viti Levu, Fiji (just below Rarawai Mill) was opened in 1899. At Lautoka the CSR Company also grew the hybrid "Fiji King" pineapples. The plantation, near the CSR Staff compound, was known as "Pineapple Hill". The pineapple plantation and cannery operated between 1938 and 1955.
