Anthropologist and Geographer, Dr William Clarke worked in the Highlands of New Guinea during the 1960s. He lived with and studied the agricultural practices of the Bomagai-Angoiang people, a sub-tribe of the Maring.

The materials in this section are from his collection, donated to the Pacific Research Archives in 2009. They provide a view of agricultural techniques in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea in the 1960s and the types of materials that can be used for research from the PRA.
